Though I make frequent allusions to this film [esp. in reference to my cats], I found the rape/conception scene so disturbing when I first watched this (I was 12-ish), that I can’t even think about it now without getting the heebie jeebies.  And I will not be watching it again.  Ever. And don’t even get me started on how horrifying I find The Exorcist.  I am an atheist scared of the devil.  This is something I will have to work through with my future therapist.
